Personal Reaction
Lee Sims

I personally thought that the pace in Act II was a bit slow, the progression towards Hamlet's ultimate goal of testing his uncle by using the play is very lethargic, but I am left in anticipation of what will come of the play and if Hamlet ever decides to do anything about his father's murder. In addition to this, I am extremely perturbed by everything that Polonious says; he is extremely pompous and magniloquent in his speech.

  1. I feel the exact same way about the pacing it seems when Polonius is talking i'm reading through the text at a speed as if i'm drudging through snow while trying to walk through waist deep water
