Personal Reaction DeAnna

Since we have had practice interpreting poems and other works of literary merit, I can understand this play better than others i have previously read. This is partly because this time I am focusing on tone and the emotion behind the lengthy metaphors and poetic diction. My favorite section of this act was in scene 5 when the ghost is talking about his brother's affair with his wife. It is quite humorous. Before this year, I don't think I would have understood the innuendo. "...That it went hand in hand even with the vow I made to her in marriage, and to decline, upon a wretch whose natural gift were poor to those of mine."
